Reverse Engineering

A significant problem hindering the further development of existing IT systems is the lack of up-to-date specification and design documentation. Reverse engineering of specifications and designs from code is a skill I practised for several years in IBM.

I am able to undertake the following kinds of work:

• Gather information about software function from developers, users, and existing manuals and documentation.
• Create and document specifications of software functions using various appropriate technologies.
